Zeta Analytic Software and ZetaFormBuilder are software products designed for research, data collection, analysis, publishing, and review workflows. This privacy policy explains how data is handled when users access the website, desktop software, and connected cloud services.
ZetaFormBuilder is designed so that project files, published forms, uploaded documents, images, and synced submission files can be stored in the user’s own connected cloud account, such as Dropbox or Google Drive. The user remains responsible for the storage space and access settings of their connected cloud account.
When a user chooses to connect a supported cloud storage provider, the software requests access only for the purpose of saving and reading project-related files, published form files, response files, dashboard summary files, images, and other user-generated content needed by the application. Zeta does not claim ownership of files stored in the user’s own connected account.
The software may use third-party sign-in or authorization flows so that users can connect their own accounts. Those flows are governed by the privacy and security policies of the relevant provider. Users are responsible for reviewing the permissions they approve during sign-in or cloud connection.
The desktop and mobile applications may store drafts, configuration details, sync state, and temporary working data locally on the user’s device to support offline usage and later synchronization. Users are responsible for protecting the devices on which the software is installed.
The website may collect standard technical information such as browser type, device information, and basic analytics needed to operate, secure, and improve the website. The website may also process contact details submitted by users when they contact us for licensing, onboarding, support, or sales.
Research data, uploaded files, published form content, and response files stored in a user’s own connected cloud account remain under that user’s or organization’s control, subject to the policies of the cloud provider they use.
We take reasonable steps to design the software to use secure sign-in and cloud connection methods where available. However, users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own cloud accounts, passwords, connected devices, and access permissions.
Zeta Analytic Software and ZetaFormBuilder may rely on third-party platforms such as Dropbox, Google, Firebase, or other providers depending on the selected deployment model. Use of those services is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.
